If you have friends or relatives visiting you who need a doctor and who are normally resident in the UK, we would be pleased to accept them as a temporary resident. Please tell the receptionist they are a temporary resident so they can arrange for them to complete the appropriate form.

For visitors not normally resident in the UK, they may be accepted for immediate NHS treatment if there is a medical emergency. For non-urgent cases they may be seen as a private patient and charges will apply.

Anyone who will be resident in the area for greater than six months is entitled to be registered with a GP in the area.
